My first book, Time Aerials, has just come out in paperback. The first print arrived this morning from Melbourne. It’s available worldwide from Ingram. Originally released in mid-2015, this 2017 edition has been thoroughly polished and I’ve added four new illustrations. These pictures appear on the back cover and at the start of each section in the body of the book. The domain TimeAerials.com points to the page with all the purchasing information and reviews.
This is the same underlying model that I used for the cover of Yesterday Makers. However, it’s done in 3D Coat, and rendered in bronze so that it looks more like a statuette than a mushroom cloud. The time ships in the book are bronzy, consciousness happens, and the time bubbles emerge from the trunk of history in a similar way. You can see similar imagery in my consciousness section.
If you’re in the area, you can pop into the Post Office/Newsagency at Deakin (4 Duff Place, Deakin, ACT 2600) and grab a copy–possibly even buy one. A big thanks to Ajit for the display.
A copy also went to the National Library for legal deposit. Makes it all seem legit, somehow…
My novella arrived in two boxes today. A very nice print job by Ingram. I’ll be doing the rounds of the local bookshops to see if they will take it on. Harry Hartog in Woden already have a few copies (that should be available over the next day or so). The RRP is AUD 19.95. Ingram also supplies bookshops directly (worldwide), so you can order from your local supplier. Book Depository has it (free delivery worldwide). And if you like the weightless electric version, you can get it as a Kindle from Amazon.
